Servicing customers throughout the country from our headquarters in Long Beach California for that last 34 years. We are stocking distributors for all the major brands in lighting for both light bulbs and ballast. Some of the brands we are distributors for are General Electric, Sylvania, Philips, Advance, Universal, Ushio, Keystone, Venture, Denkyu to just name a few.


Orders received before 1:00PM PST are typically shipped same day. Inventory is subject to change. Please understand the shipping is determined by the box size and recently UPS & Fed-Ex have changed their freight policies. They now charge either actual weight or dimensional weight whichever is larger, so for larger orders or especially heavy or odd size boxes, charges are subject to change and you will be notified immediately. If you would like to expedite your order please contact one of our sales representatives to assist you.

Our freight allowance only covers business to business deliveries. Any other form of delivery (residential, construction site, church, etc) will be billed to the customer. If expedited delivery is necessary, we will only cover standard shipping. Any additional charges are the customer’s responsibility. If the delivery site requires any delivery services, (lift gate/pallet jack, inside delivery, re-delivery, reconsignment, etc.), make sure to specify on the purchase order in order to avoid any additional charges. We reserve the right to bill the customer any additional fees that are invoiced to us by the shipping company.


If you package is damaged in transit please note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery and contact us as soon as possible. We will file the claim and handle everything on this end. We use 250lb-corrugated boxes and protect the light bulbs with Air bags and popcorn so damaged is very rare with us.


All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before your order is shipped, if the item you purchased has an issue you will be notified and given an opportunity to accept the updated price or cancel the order. "We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies, or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department."


We are not an Internet drop shipping company, we are a stocking distributor with lamps and ballast stocked to the ceiling from over 30 Manufactures.


If you aren’t happy with something you bought, you can return an item within 15 calendar days after the day you received it. We’ll send a full refund (minus your original shipping & handling charges) to your original payment method within 14 business days after we receive the product. reserves the right to charge a restock fee on all returns including, but not limited to, holiday lighting, special made to order items and fixtures. Products must be returned in new unused condition with the original packaging. Ballast products must not have the wires cut.

All returns must be pre-approved in advance and include a copy of the RMA.

1. Contact us to initiate a return within 15 days of receiving your order.

2. Return item(s) within 14 days of receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

3. Item(s) arrives at warehouse.

4. Receive refund within 14 calendar days.


Many products sold including ballast and LED products, have a specific manufacturer’s limited warranty. The type and length of the warranty typically is listed on the product page. Any warranty is solely a manufacturer’s warranty and exclude all consequential or incidental damages and are limited to repair or replacement by the manufacturer and some have a limited time frame. These manufacturer warranties have exclusions and for example do not cover: (a) Loss, damage, failure due to abuse, negligence, mishandling, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations, disassembly, or modification of any part of the product, or loss due to cosmetic damage, or damage due to nature or acts of God. For LED Products. In addition to other limits, any warranty is null and void if the product is not installed or used within the manufacturer's guidelines of voltage and current. Excessive high VOLTAGE or HEAT will have the potential to burn out the LED or Lamp. (b) Loss, damage, failure, defects due to the failure to follow proper installation, operating, maintenance, or environmental instructions or due to loss of or damage to the product in reinstallation of any product, nor for the expense accumulated thereof. (c) Under any circumstance the costs, expense, time and effort of the removal of, or reinstallation of any product, or any expense related thereto. This warranty shall not apply to any accessories used with the product or to any damage which they may cause. Refer to the specific product’s warranty if any.


All ballasts sold by are from major manufactures and are quality products. All ballasts are pre-tested by the manufacturer and ready for installation.. Ballasts are rarely defective out of the box, almost always the ballasts reported as defective prove in factory post testing to be faulty due to improper installation.

All of our ballasts are guaranteed to be free from factory defects and in perfect working order and come with factory warranties.

If a ballast is reported to be defective and is still under the factory warranty, the customer should contact Customer Service to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). With the RMA, our customer may be asked to return the product at the customer’s shipping expense for factory testing. Upon factory confirmation that the ballast is defective, a replacement will be sent out at no charge.  If a replacement is needed before the factory has had an opportunity to test the ballast, it must be ordered and paid for as if it were a new order. (A credit for the defective ballast may take two to four weeks to be declared acceptable under warranty).

WARNING: Wiring and installation procedures are very complicated and should be attempted by a licensed electrician only. Ballast installation poses serious risks of electric shock which can lead to injury or death.

Express Disclaimer of Warranties.

Spot Lighting as a seller of products to commercial merchants and accounts expressly disclaims any express or implied warranties including the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Instead, Spot Lighting provides for a return policy if certain conditions and time periods are satisfied. All warranty claims shall be directed to the manufacturer. Spot Lighting is not a manufacturer and provides no services.

Limitation of Liability.

Spot Lighting’s liability if any is expressly limited to replacement of the same or like product under its return policy. Under no circumstance shall Spot Lighting be liable for any money or compensatory damages, direct or general damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, or special or punitive damages. Buyer expressly agrees to this limitation. A failed manufacturer’s warranty for a product is not a breach or failure by the seller. The seller as per its then policy will assist and cooperate in responding in such a buyer’s claim including notifying the manufacturer of a buyer’s warranty claim.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to the information that you voluntarily give us when ordering or other direct contact from you (Company name, contact name, address and phone #). Our website is PCI compliant and we do not store or have access to your credit card information. We will not sell or rent any of your information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
